Biography of Jackie Walker
Jacqueline studied at the American
Academy of Art in Chicago,
Illinois and at the Pennsylvania
Academy of Art and the Fleisher Art
Memorial in Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania.
Ms. Walker has also taken classes
with Coulter Watt.
With a strong natural ability,
Ms. Walker has painted “plein air”
in the Bucks County countryside as
well as in Europe and has done many
portraits and figures.
As a member of the Doylestown Art
League, she has won numerous
awards, the latest for “First in Oils”
and honorable mention for “Amber” a
figure.
She exhibits at the Canal Frame-
Crafts, Washington Crossing and the
Delaware River Gallery, Yardley,
PA. She will be featured at the
Stover Mill Gallery, Erwinna,
Pennsylvania throughout August,
2008.
“The primary purpose of my efforts
as a painter is to paint so
that
there is an effective balance of color,
light, and shadow, creating a
strong atmospheric element in my
paintings.”
